GreenPly has been designed to answer the shortcomings of both Chinese and domestically produced panels.
GreenPly is a formaldehyde free plywood produced by an FSC certified mill. All core material is manufactured from 100% plantation grown radiata pine in New Zealand.
GreenPly is built with US standard 7 ply construction, as opposed to the standard imported “mulitcore” construction, thereby enhancing its stability and performance. The core stock is kiln dried to further ensure stability and lack of movement in service. GreenPly is calibrated at 19mm, not the typical 18mm imported plywood thickness that is scant of full ¾”.
GreenPly is priced very attractively as well, falling between Chinese and domestic pricing. It exceeds the quality characteristics of standard US produced panels, while being a less expensive alternative. It surpasses the quality control standards of Chinese produced panels in composition, construction and formaldehyde emissions, while still being very competitively priced.
Due to its formaldehyde free composition, GreenPly is suitable for applications where LEED’s certified building materials are required. While all panels are produced by an FSC certified mill, FSC “stamped” panels are also available for jobs requiring FSC certification to completion.
